The Settlers are NPCs that the player can find while exploring the world in Villages, Dungeon and Caves. Some NPCs will occasionally arrive to the player's settlement.
The player can trade with NPCs. In addition, the most NPCs can be hired for coins and items the NPCs like. Some settlers are only available for recruitment after certain conditions are met, such as defeating Bosses.
All settlers, except for Guards, will do hauling, crafting, forestry and farming work. Some NPCs can perform special tasks:
• Farmer fertilizes the fields using the fertilize zones
• Hunter hunts animals and some critters
• Animal Keeper does husbandry, taking care about your cows and sheep
• Mage enchants trinkets, weapons and some tools
• Angler can be sent on fishing trips
• Explorer can be sent discover new islands and explore caves
• Stylist can change your appearance
The settlers will be happier the larger a room, more furniture and the better food they consume. Happy settlers have much better shop prices and take fewer and shorter breaks.
