Pig don't spawn naturally in the world. They are spawned by using the Imported Pig item.
It gives you Raw Pork when killed.
You can use Fences and Gates to create a pig pen.
The Pig can be mated using Wheat. You need at least 2 tame pigs to start breeding them. You can give them Wheat by hand or through the Feeding Trough.
