Boars are the male counterpart to Pigs. They can be domesticated and raised by players.
A Boar drops Raw Pork when killed.
Unlike other animals, Boars are not in the wild, and can only be found and obtained when brought by Traveling Merchants visiting a player settlement. By using ropes, they can be led and fenced in to create a pen.
Boars can breed when put along pigs. A single tame Boar can breed with many pigs, as long they're also tame and ready to breed. To tame a Boar, it needs to be fed Wheat for a prolonged time by hand or using a nearby Feeding Trough.
