Hunger
The Hunger mechanic is optional when creating the world, but is enabled by default.
Players who only like the exploration part and non-invasive gameplay can turn it off in More World Settings by disabling Survival Mode option and then Enable Player Hunger option.
If Enable Player Hunger option is enabled, the hunger bar will gradually decrease when the Player moves, fights, or works.
When the hunger bar reaches 5%, the Player will gain Hungry Debuff and will no longer have health regeneration bonuses.
The character will not die from being Hungry, but lack of health regeneration can be fatal when fighting Monsters or Raiders.
When the hunger bar reaches 0% the Player will gain the Starving Debuff and move significantly slower.
Additionally, their Health will decrease over time until it reaches 0 points and the Player dies. So don't forget to cook and bring Food with you when you go on adventure or exploration.
