The Hoverboard is a later mount that can be obtained as a quests reward by following the quests given to the player by the town Elder.
The Hoverboard slowly picks up speed with little steering but can bounce off objects like trees keeping most momentum.
Activating the Hoverboard right after using the Force of Wind will immediately activate it at maximum speed.
