Emerald is a crafting material used to make Crystal weapons, armor and ammo. It can be obtained from the big crystals in Deep Swamp Caves in Crystal biomes. Each big crystal drops several Emeralds when mined.
Emerald can also sometimes be found during any Crystal Incursion.
