Ascended Shard is a crafting material used to upgrades Weapons and Tools at the Upgrade Station. It is also used to make the Tier 10 Ascended Incursion Tablet at the Fallen Workstation.
Ascended Shard can be dropped from any boss from Tier 8 or higher Incursions, but it requires the Tier 10 perk "The Beginning of The End".
