Mounts

Mounts are creatures or objects that act as vehicles that a player can use for transportation. When a mount-summoning item is used, it applies an unlimited "buff" to the player, spawns the mount, and places the player on or in it. Mount movement can be controlled using the player's usual movement keys. Like pets and summons, mounts have unlimited uses, and their summoning items are not consumed. Only one mount can be in effect at a time. Mounts will unequip automatically when the player dies.

All mount items can be placed in the mount slot and then summoned with the "F" key.

There are currently 4 mounts,

Jumping Ball - Used to summon Jumping Ball mount. Sometimes sold by the Traveling Merchant.

Inefficient Feather - Used to summon Tame Ostrich mount. Sold by the Animal Keeper.

Hoverboard - Used to summon Hoverboard mount. Given to the player by the Elder after completing a quest. Sold by the Traveling Merchant once the quest is completed.

Wood Boat and Steel Boat - Used to summon a Wood Boat or Steel Boat mount on water. Boats are different than other mounts in that they can be placed on the water without going in the mount slot. When done this way they leave the player's inventory. To pick them back up when not a mount, players need to hit them with a weapon.
