About the Settlement Interface

The Settlement Interface is displayed when the player uses the Open settlement keyboard Control (C by default). It is used to control your Settlement and to automate the actions of your settlers within it. The buttons are:

1. Settings
2. Settlers
3. Command
4. Equipment
5. Diets
6. Restrict
7. Defend Zone
8. Work priorities
9. Assign work

Here follows a brief introduction to the function of each button's purpose, but view the linked pages for full information on each one.

Diets button

To avoid Hunger, you and all of your settlers need to eat food regularly. There are three main classes of food set by Diets for each settler:

1. Simple Food
2. Fine Food
3. Gourmet Food

A Diet can be set which may include any number of items within each food type.

Use the Diets button to set:

• The default Diet for New settlers joining the Settlement.
• An individual Diet for each current Settler.
