Evil's Protector is likely the first boss you will fight. It must be defeated before morning or it will leave and the encounter will fail.

How to Summon[edit]

Evil's Protector can be summoned during the night with a Mysterious Portal, that can either be obtained as a rare drop from zombies, or as loot from Forest Cave chests.

Behavior[edit]

Upon spawning, the boss will immediately land on the ground. While in the ground phase, it will attack with fireballs and homing bolts, while it also summons portals that bring small demons. After a certain amount of time or damage, it will take off and begin the bombing phase. During this phase, the boss is invisible but will drop bombs on players. These bombs have warning signs of red circles where they will land. Anyone too close to the impact will take damage. After dropping a bomb, a shadow of it will appear on the ground where it will land to begin the next ground phase. Any player near the landing point will take damage. After each round of phases, the attacks will become more sophisticated and more frequent until the boss is defeated.

Trivia[edit]

This boss can be fought early on with the help of villagers from your settlement if you fight it in your village's defend zone.

Evils Protector will despawn at dawn, so be careful to summon this boss early in the night to give yourself sufficient time to defeat it.
