Boss Items are items used to summon a boss. Players can craft them or find them as rare drops from mobs/chests in caves.
Bosses which haven't any boss items are Pirate Captain and Fallen Wizard.
Boss items can only be used in the correct Biome for the Boss summoned and using the same rules as normally required (Mysterious Portal can only be used at night for example.
