The Vending Machine is an item used to store food and is functionally identical to a Cooling Box. As long as it is supplied with Iceblossom, it reduces the spoilage rate of food it contains by 75%.
When generated as part of a Scrapyard Incursion, it contains items in four slots.

| Slot 2 | Black Coffee (1-2) or Fruit Smoothie (1-2) or Sweet Lemonade (1-2) |
| Slot 3 | Blueberry Cake (1-2) or Donut (1-2) or Lemon Tart (1-2) |
| Slot 4 | Spoiled Food (6-18) |
The color and cleanliness of the Vending Machine is determined by what direction the player is facing when placing it. If it contains Iceblossom, the sprite appears to be full of food, otherwise it appears empty (whether or not it contains any actual food).
