Saplings can be planted on some Terrain Tiles (see table) to grow trees, bushes or cactuses. No space between Bushes is required for them to grow, but other tree saplings need at least one tile of space all around them.

Tree saplings other than fruit tree saplings are also used for crafting.

Fruit Tree saplings and Berry Bush saplings will yield Fruits: Apple, Banana, Blackberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Coconut and Lemon.
