Trial rooms are rooms found in Caves that look similar to treasure rooms, but they contain a staircase instead of a chest. The staircase leads to a trial that rewards the player with two chests containing loot from the type of cave the trial was entered from and several piles of Coins. There are two types of trial rooms: a memory trial and a trap trial. Trial rooms cannot be detected by a Treasure Potion, but they will show up as "trial entrance" when hovered over on the map.
