Mobs/Monsters

First time on this Wiki - nice to meet you all.

I'm relatively new to Necesse, saw the game being promoted during one of the game conventions due to the 1.0 release scheduled for later this year. I've amassed around 20 hours of gameplay in last few days, and one of the things that I must admit has stood out is the sheer amount of mobs/monsters that just navigate to you underground without even being in distance or provoked. Now, I'm not saying this is a problem or an issue but wondering what other players thoughts are, especially if you are a newbie too? Do you think it's too much or fine?

For example, when I first went to the Swamp biome and went underground to farm Ivy for the first time, it was just non-stop waves of monsters which gave me little time to mine, take anything in or mine. I've started to take walls with me when mining so I can close areas behind off which is working fine.

Like I say, not a problem/issue, just curious?
