The [[Void Wizard]] is the third [[boss]] the Elder wants you to fight. He is located at the bottom floor of the [[Dungeon]]. You can find a [[Dungeon]] entrance by crafting a [[Dungeon Map]] at your [[Workstation]]. Once you consume the map, you can look at the World Map to see locate the entrance. After defeating him, you can summon him again by using a [[Void Caller]].

==Fight==
This fight takes place on a map where you cannot destroy furniture*. Be aware that the Candlebras can block your projectiles, but will allow Void Wizard's attacks to pass through.

Attacking the Void Wizard will initiate the fight.

During his first phase he will perform the following attacks:

The first of his attacks is a sniper style attack. In this attack he will stand still, and numerous missiles will appear around him before they fly towards the player. The direction they fire in is indicated by the direction they are facing when they first aper.

The second attack is his fan attack. In this attack, the boss will stand still and fire a fan of homing bolts at the target.

His most devastating attack is where he makes clones of himself. '''Do not destroy the clones''', as this will spawn a projectile that bounces around the arena for the rest of the fight. The clones will disappear on their own after a few seconds.

As you whittle him down, he will send out more bouncing projectiles. At 50% health, he will transform and add a new attack, firing waves at you. He can also now move during his other attacks, and will no longer summon clones. His transformation lasts quite a while, and is a good opportunity to try and burst him down.

Your reward from the Elder for killing the Void Wizard is the [[Void Pouch]].

*Even though you cannot alter his arena, you can place [[Banner Stand|Banner Stands]] that provide [[Banner]] buffs once you have access to them much later in the game.
